Mission Statement

The mission is to implement a “Bully Free Educational Program” into every school in the Nation.  The program has the potential to neutralize Bullying and Disruptive student behavior in the classrooms, assure the students they are safe under the Bully Free Educational Program, encourage the students to learn, make the parents feel their child is safer at school with the installation of the “Bully Free Educational Program” and get the parents of the students whose child is in the “Bully Free Educational Program” more involved in their child’s education.

The Purpose of the

“Bully Free Educational Program”

  1.  The “Bully Free Educational Program” is a program to protect and unite the students who want to learn into an anti-Bullying collective with each student [n the program looking out for one another and stop being victims of Bullies and distracted by Disruptive student behavior in the classrooms.

  2. Give the parents of those students who come to school to learn a sense of assurance their child is safer with the installation of a “Bully Free Educational Program”.  I’ve gone on a website www.stopbullying.gov and I clicked on, Facts about Bullying and What To Do if a student feel they are being bullied.  After viewing that study I realized some students are no more than prey animals waiting to be bullied.  But there is one thing I noticed in the study, Bullies single out one student, do not try to Bully a group of students and that observation is what I base the “Bully Free Educational Program” on.

  3. The “Bully Free Educational Program” is to protect those children at school who desire to learn and give their parent’s a better feeling their child is safer in school with a “Bully Free Educational Program”. in school then they are today without a “Bully Free Educational Program”.  They already have punishment and alternative programs for the Bullies and Disruptive students in the classrooms.  So why not have a program with incentives to motivate, reward, protect and encourage the students who come to school to learn and be on their best behavior.

  4. Hold the Administration Accountable to investigate Bullying incidents and Disruptive student behavior in the classrooms as soon as the incidents are reported to send a message to all student’s disruptive behavior and Bullying will not be tolerated on any level and possibly prevent Bullying incidents from escalating into harmful and dangerous situations

How the "Bully Free Educational Program" Works

In order for the “Bully Free Educational Program” to work the program must be on a volunteer bases giving the parent of a student the right to sign their child up for the “Bully Free Educational Program until their child enters into the “Middle School”.  After the student enters the “Middle School” the choice will become the student’s choice to sign up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” every school year.  For the grades kindergarten through third grade the program comes with an animated children’s book titled “The Adventures of Junior and Mousey in the Land of Puttin Pow No More Bullying”.  With the book and the installation of the “Bully Free Educational Program” by the time the student enters the 4th and 5th grades the student already has a strong introduction about learning and bullying.  All student’s that sign up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” and goes through the school year without serious incident and maintains a certain grade point average will receive a “No Incident Certificate” at the end of the school year.  Listed below are the incentives for the students who sign up for the
Bully Free Educational Program” and earn the “No Incident Certificate”.

                                                                           Incentives for the

                                                                     “No Incident Certificate”

  1.  An “Award Dinner Banquet” at the end of the school year for the “Bully free Educational Program” to present the “No Incident Certificate”, present other special awards to the students enrolled in the “Bully Free Educational Program”, announce the student’s outstanding behavior, and the prior consecutive years of earning the “No Incident Certificate” if any.  Allow the parents of the students, teachers, school board, special guest, administrators, friends and relatives of all to attend the “Award Dinner Banquet” for a fee (to be decided but the students don’t pay) and the proceeds from the “Award Dinner Banquet” goes into a fund to enhance the “Bully Free Educational Program”

  2.  special award for the students that receives the “No Incident Certificate” from kindergarten through 12th grade and graduate with a 3.5 or better overall Grade Point Average (that award will cater to the specific student or students).  The “Special Award” will be the “Outstanding Esteem Award” which will be the highest honor a student can receive in the “Bully Free Educational Program”.  Striving for the “Outstanding Esteem Award” will cause the students to come together as a collective competing academically and behavior wise to earn the highest honor that comes with the “Outstanding Esteem Award”.  At the same time the competitive nature of the students of the collective focusing on the “No Incident Certificate”, the “Outstanding Esteem Award” and other “Honorable Awards” to be presented at the “Award Dinner Banquet” will play a part to slowly help to filter out the Bullies and dismantle Bullying.

  3. To get places of local Employment and Colleges on board to honor the “No Incident Certificate” and give extra consideration to the teen students when they reach working age seek employment, apply for college or trade school.  This is a great way for a young child to begin their resume beginning from kindergarten through 12th grade

                                                                            Objective of the

                                                            “Bully Free Educational Program”

The “Bully Free Educational Program is designed to unite the students who want to learn, want no part in Bullying, want no part in disruptive classroom behavior into a collective under the protection of the “Bully Free Educational Program”.  The program does not encourage students of the collective who sign up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” to directly confront Bullies but instead to indirectly confront the Bullies by using the distastefulness of the Bullies  by getting good grades, developing their own character, being on their best behavior and enhancing their own self-esteem by striving with the students of the collective who are signed up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” to achieve the “No Incident Certificate” and/or the “Outstanding Esteem Award”.  At the same time the students of the collective can avoid confrontations with bullies until the student can tell someone by using the advice from (www.stopbullying.gov)

                                                                              The Strength of the

“Bully Free Educational Program”

By making the “Bully Free Educational Program” a volunteer option for the students that sign up for the program will be sending a signal they seek the shelter of the program, they and their parents are united against Bullying, and They come to school to learn.  On the other-hand the students that do not sign up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” will automatically put themselves on the ‘To Be Watched Bully List”.  Yet and still just because a student does not sign up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” does not classify the student to be a Bully or potential Bully or exhibit disruptive behavior in the classroom because there are some students who have a demeanor that suggest to the bullies they will not be bullied.  Those students who refused to be bullied are’

  1.  Students with aspirations of going to college

  2. Athletes with anticipation of furthering their education by earning a scholarship to college in a sport

  3. Students who will tell their parents, administration and teachers if someone is trying to Bully them

It’s the students outside of those three categories that are usually the students subjected to being bullied and these are the students the “Bully Free Educational Program” is designed to attract and protect.

The program is also designed to encourage the three categories of students who are not normally bullied to sign up for the program to earn the “Outstanding Esteem Award” and the “No Incident Certificate” at the end of every school year until they graduate for special consideration for employment and/or college.

The “Bully Free Educational Program” is also designed to discourage or assimilate the students who could become possible bullies.  If a student is just prone to become a Bully that student will not sign up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” or if that particular student does sign up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” chances are that student will violate the rules of the program.  If that is the case with a student at least that student can be identified and get the proper help the student needs.  In the case where the student could become a potential bully and sign’s up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” that student will have to abide by the rules of the program.  The four main rules of the “Bully Free Educational Program” that can possibly prevent and/or assimilate the potential student that could become a Bully are.

1.  The student must not participate in any Bullying incidents

2.  The student must maintain a certain grade point average

3.  The Parents encouraging their children to learn, stay out of trouble and earn the “No Incident Certificate”

4.  The student must attend the “Bully Free Educational Program” meeting with other students who are signed up for the program.  Those meetings will be held in the middle of every marking period with parents being allowed to attend the meetings.  At those meetings is where the counselors and teachers can do hands on training with students and parents about Bullying and give counseling to the students who need counseling

Overview of the

“Bully Free Educational Program”

1.  Getting Bullying incidents reported in the early stages works by the students who are signed up for the “Bully Free Educational Program” keeping a watchful eye out for potential Bullying incidents.  Which will cause an overwhelming amount of students to be on the lookout for any potential Bullying incidents such as teasing, hitting, pushing, excluding students on purpose, one student yelling at another student and report those incidents before those incidents escalate into a dangerous situation.

2. Create an environment that constantly reminds the bullies they are being watched and their behavior will not be tolerated.

3. Get the student’s parents more involve in their child’s education.  Make the Parents feel their child is safer in school with the “Bully Free Educational Program”

 4. The students of the collective and teachers will feel safer with the “Bully Free Educational Program” watching out for one another

The Upside of the Implementation of the

“Bully Free Educational Program”

Into the Schools

  1.  All the schools have to do is adopt the program because the program is cost efficient, rules, regulations, punishment and guide lines are already in place for academic grades and punishment for bullying

  2. The installation of the “Bully Free Educational Program” will give existing riles for academic grades and punishment for bullying a backbone.

  3. When the program is announced it automatically takes a psychological effect on the teachers, parents, administration and students whether the student is a potential bully or not a potential bully.

Summary

The Bully Free Educational Program is to protect the children in the schools, encourage them to get an education, look forward to going to school, know they are safe and protected.  The program assures the students it is alright to report bullying incidents to their parents, teachers or administration.  This program is going to stop the children who are Bullied from needing therapy or harming themselves and single out the Bully who really needs the mental help

In closing; There is no way in the world a hand full of disruptive students should be allowed to hold an entire school hostage and interrupt the very principle purpose of the school, “To Protect and Educate the American Children”.
